Looking for a recipe for sugar wafers

Thread Starter

I have compared several brands of candy bars and cookies that resemble the sugar wafers like Kitkat, Manner, Loacker, Carley's, etc. I am not looking for the Southern Dessert staple the Vanilla Wafers or the Chocolate Wafers cousin, but those thin, bland and tasteless wafer sheet.

These are the list of ingredients that are the basis of making a sugar wafer:

Wheat flour

Granulated sugar or powdered sugar

Canola oil

Yeast

Baking Soda

Salt

Vanilla Extract

I wanted to make my own, instead of buying the sheets found online or on specialty baking and gourmet stores.

I wonder if someone can help me devising a recipe for it? Much help is appreciated.

Google "pizzelle" and "krumkake".
