What is a good recipe for children birthday? No cake or sweet.

Mac and cheese. Make it fun by offering "mix and match" toppings like pulled pork, shredded chicken, shrimp, buttery bread crumbs or croutons.

Going a bit further with BrianShaw's idea, what about meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting, if you have the time.


It depends on the age group, also.  3-6 eat a bit differently than 12-15. (at least I think they do :p )

I've always found kids like fried pizza rolls, along with any thing else fried and with cheese. Putting the things together has always served me well in my past.
