Hello! I love pumpkin carving with my family but I never know how to utilize the pumpkin afterwards. Does anyone have any suggestions for cooking or baking with pumpkin?
There was a delicious-sounding recipe for Pumpkin Bread with Brown Butter and Bourbon in the New York Times a week or two ago. I'm completely over pumpkin-spice everything but this is on my to-bake list for this fall.
Pie pumpkin for cooking is a LOT different than the carving pumpkins that are pretty tasteless.
