I want to get a bunch of graveyard-theme sugar decorations so my daughter and her friends can decorate a Halloween cake. I searched online, but my Google-fu isn't working. Where should I look to get stuff like this?
I am hired to do a halloween themed event 2,000 piece dessert bar. i am making tombstones out of Milano cookies, using gummy worms in cupcakes that have finely chopped oreo as dirt. use green candy melts on pretzel rods and add an almond slice as a finger nail. zombi fingers. chocolate covered oreo cookies with black thin licorice as spider legs. flour less chocolate cake with white chocolate melted and drawn on as spider webs using the concentric circles and drag toothpick technique. Brown sugar glazed walnuts as brains on mini cupcakes
No worries. I did a 2-layer génoise with chunky berry coulis in the middle, chocolate buttercream outside, topped with coarse-ground Nabisco chocolate wafers.
White chocolate and Oreo stone-look fudge tombstones.
White chocolate bones and skulls.
Multiple colors of modeling chocolate. Black glitter glaze.
And hand it over to two 9-year-old besties for an afternoon. Rule #1: if it's not working, eat it and make another try.
They loved it.
