Hey guys! I have to admit- I'm a bit of a baking novice! However, I am ready to branch out this week and make my first cake (not from a box). I love lemon and carrot, and how can you go wrong with anything chocolate??
Could you give me a delicious recipe that's not too intimidating?
Mix sugar, eggs and oil. Add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix well; add
carrots and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in a half size sheet pan at 325
F for 20
to 30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and frost.
Carrot Cake Frosting
¼ pound butter
3 cups pecans, chopped
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 pound box powdered sugar
16 ounce cream cheese
Add all ingredients together and mix well.
Note: The cooking time may be different because all ovens do not cook the
same.
