Good evening. I am head cook from Lithuania(we have a little bit different rank system here. Maybe I can even call my self chef). I was just wondering what offers I can get with my experience. Got 2 years experience in asian kitchen(1 year as head cook/chef). My job was to prepare kitchen for work(production ordering, check every preparation is still valid and kitchen staff controling). I know foreign languages as english, russian and soo will be learning german. So I just wonder is it possible to get job with mine experience in european restaurants?

It depends where you want to work.

France, Germany, Russia, Italy,,,?!

Depends on what type of cuisine you want to work on, and what kind of environment and cooking scenerio you want to partake in.

What kind of restaurant do you want?? Michellin Starred, Rustic, Buffet, Catering (not a restaurant but cooking environment), Fine Dining, Classic, Contemporary/Modern.

With 2 years of experience in my book, you could get a entry level or line cook position at a Michellin Starred restaurant, a chef position maybe if you climbed the chain and had enough skill to keep the title.

Usually the more upscale the restaurant the harder it is to get higher positions. It really depends of what you are trying to go after.

So maybe giving us a bit more information would be helpful.

What kind of restaurant do you work in right now??

Also i assume having some luck can be a factor as well as helpful.

I am high motivated learning german. So I would like to work in germany or switzerland. Now I work in chain restaurant. In which type of restaurant I would like to work I actually don't know, but I guess in classic would be fine. Even if I am a fast learner Michellin stared restaurant would be very challenging for me because I believe that there is way more good cooks/chefs than me.
