Hello
We recently bought a Silhouette Cameo to cut gum paste for cake decorating at our bakery, we were thrilled. However it seems that no matter what we try, the gum paste is getting caught in the blade and jut tearing through the paste not leaving a trace or hint of a design, (and we just tried a square).
So far we have tried,
Rolling the gum paste until it is practically see through
adjusting blade depth and thickness settings
Letting the gum paste sit on the cutting mat for a half hour before cutting.
Does anyone else have any experience they would love to share to kindly with me? Is there a different type of blade that is better with the gum paste I could try?
Thanks soooooooo much for any advice I can get, Michelle - The Invermere Bakery
