Vanilla Bean Paste... Where to get it?

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone can direct me to a website that sells Vanilla Bean Paste. We use it in school and I am totally addicted to using it in all my recipes that call for extract. I assume it is pricey, but I am willing to spend the money for a quality product. The bottles we use at school are pretty big. I am guessing like 32 ounces or something. It says "Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste" or something. Since the product is used sparingly, I don't think I would need a bottle that big, but if the price is right, who knows?

However, I do know this for sure....

I have bought my last $5 vanilla bean.

My Friends: "Make me Ice Cream!!! Make me Ice Cream!!!"
Me: "Give me 20 dollars for material."
My Friends: "Let's go get Ben and Jerry's."

Seriously, who's got 10 extra bucks for 2 vanilla beans? I don't!!! I'm so broke, I can't even pay attention sometimes!!! LOL

Vanilla bean paste is the way to go I am thinking. A one time investment will set me up for a LONG time. What do you all think? Can you help me out?

Ardge,
Both King Arthur Flour www.kingarthurflour.com and A Cook's Wares www.cookswares carry vanilla bean paste. I've ordered things from both of these sites and their selection and service has always been good.

You can also buy paste at Williams-Sonoma, if you can't wait for mail order. I think it is about $9 +/- a bottle.

Thanks for the info! I checked out the sites and will be going to W/S soon.

This place is the coolest place on the web!
