||I Just Like Food
|| Married all my life to the love of my life. My high school sweetheart. His mother was an awesome typical Betty Crocker cook but a phenomenal baker. My grandmother was the head pastry chef at one of the premiere University's for 25 years. Her touch was all it took to take something from magic to perfection. Grandfather was a true chef, German Norwegian he could invent anything. His meals were stellar.
I started cooking at 6 and stuffed/baked/roasted my first turkey at that age. I had to, mom called and said, "Do it. I'm at work" it was bigger than I was. Three times a week our milk man Wes came to the house to deliver the milk eggs butter cheese. He was there by 5:15 am sharp. All those mornings I got up and prepared him a full restaurant style breakfast, you name it, I made it for him. He grew to expect it, ya think? It was my pleasure and so much fun to do for him.
Things that are certain to get me in a great mood include supermarkets, new recipes, any kitchen gadget made, all the appliances known to man, cookbooks from around the world, cooking for anyone and everyone. Toss in a horse or 26 and I'm yours.
Cooking and baking are truly my passion and always have been, I was born to cook.
|Interests (Hobbies, favorite activities, etc.):
||My husband is my biggest hobby, our children and the family in general. Our boat on lakes, camping, hiking, eating and gazing, all important things in life. Mostly love and faith...complete my life. Great health certainly is a plus.
|What I do for a living:
||I do work outside the home as well as in the home.
My studies included Physical Education in college with Drama and Psychology as minors.
I've also taken cooking and baking lessons but mostly it's shoot from the hip...
