||My paternal Grandmom Margherite who was born in Milano and landed on NYC´s shores in 1921 was my inspiration gastronomically. She co- owned and operated a Trattoria in NYC for over 40 years. I had worked at the front of the house during my High School and University years ... The aromas from her Kitch are still alive .
I am a mom of 2 gals, both married and both moms too. One in Switzerland and one on East Coast of the USA. Additionally, I am a Grandmom of 4 boys and 1 girl as of December 2012 .

||Travelling, Socialising with exemplary conversation, Gastronomy in all its forms, and fine Wines; the Arts; film, theatre, the visual arts, Museum exhibitions and the culinary arts. Dining and home gourmet.
|What I do for a living:
||Food, Wine & Travel Editor; the oldest English magazine presently publishing. 2ndly, I freelance in Italy for the Expat Press, & write freelance. Have website with older daughter and blogs on Travel: Europe & South America, & live Chef Interviews .
