sounds like a talented kid; I wish my parents had the money to send me across the world at the age of 16. I am sure hes still has a lot to learn both in life and the culinary world but.. it is still very impressive and inspiring to see such a young kid working so hard and with discipline.

That's exactly what it is; his parents are very well heeled and are grooming and promoting what they see as a golden egg. No different than any of the teenage music or show biz sensations that self destruct when they hit their 20s.

very likely, but don't we all have a moment like that? may of not been in the public eye but I had a moment when I was 21 where I went from being engaged and looking at buying a house to broke, working two jobs, and sleeping on my buddies floor "that's not the worst of that story but that's off topic". no matter the driving force behind it; this kid has worked hard and once he figures out who he is and what he wants out of life he may find that he truly wishes to be in this industry and hopefully when that time comes his very likely ego will of been humbled and he wont be drugged out.

He will never sign a contract except when he tries to emancipate from his screenwriter PR mother. Then the flash in the pan will crash and burn.

She turned his bedroom into a professional kitchen. Maybe he can become Linsay Lohans personal chef. That's just rude!!!
