Just a little???? Shell eggs are up more than double from this time last year. Millions of chickens have been killed in an attempt to stem the spread of avian flu. Similar thing is now happening with turkey. We make our own sausage patties using turkey tenderloins and prices are now up to almost $5 per pound! My boss has been insisting that I chew out my rep because we can't get out nitrate free product anymore and seems t refuse to believe the problem is out of their hands. It has been a major pain. Meanwhile, whole eggs are 42 bucks a case. Anybody heard a recent update on this?
