I've read an older previous thread in regards to Cannoli forms. I have seen and tried to source cannoli tubes made from bamboo. Shells fry up nice as the tubes are hollow unlike using broom handles or wood dowels that are solid. The bamboo tubes are like next to impossible to find. Anyone out there know of a source for these? If so, please provide a link or info. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding the bamboo cannoli tubes. It can certainly be a challenge to track down specialty items like this. Have you tried looking on Amazon? I know they carry a lot of items that can be hard to find elsewhere. Good luck in your search and if you find any helpful sources, please let us know so we can spread the word to others!

I don't know where you live, but where I am bamboo grows easily. A local park has a bamboo forest. I think I'll ask the gardener for some when he pruens and tends that forest. There must be a lot of bamboo "scraps" that can be salvaged for canolli forms. But what makes bamboo better than metal? All I've ever really seen are metal or wood dowels.

Will do. I have seen them on Etsy from couple of sellers but at a high price that I am not willing to pay. So the hunt continues!

From what I have read they cool off faster, the shells release easier and they are authentic!
