I'm looking to buy chicken skins (raw) in Western NY.  Any ideas of where I should go or who I could try contacting about buying some?

Why not try your local grocer - they offer boneless, skinless chicken parts to they must have the skins leftover I would think.  I love rendering chicken skin down into crisps they are absolutely delicious.

Ask your butcher. They may not have it on hand when you go in but they will save it for you the next day.

Ask your butcher to special order it for you. I get mine in a 10 pound box.

if not...google it. Plenty of places ship.

isn't most chicken prepared by the manufacture and comes pre packaged now. Starting to think butchers in food stores are becoming not needed.

A wholesaler can order anything they want. If you have a good farmers market where you can buy directly from the farmer.... they too can fill an order for chicken skins.
