Hello all

I was a customer at the restaurant I have been at last night. My husband went there together, because I figured out once I start working there full time we can't eat there. I hadn't eaten there before.

It was a great experience. I think food is even better when you know the effort and thought and creativity that has been put into every dish.

Have you all done this? What was your experience? Did you learn new things, find improvements to make, etc?

Just curious.

I think that it is very important for chefs (and cooks) to eat at their restaurant every once in awhile. It is good to see the food in the entire context of the whole restaurant. It also gives you a chance to see what else happens at the restaurant, things you don't normally see from the kitchen.
