I am not a trained chef. I have been able to convince a company that I can test drive recipes, source ingredients and cook for a professional food photographer. I spent 25 years working as a writer and editor in the hi tech field.

Yesterday I had an interview at a local restaurant. What chef wants to look at a 12 page resume that is not food related? Long story short , I brought my cheat sheet for the lamb dinner I made Sunday with the recipe from that. The chef was impressed. I also brought photos. Just goes to show if you believe in what you do, things can happen.
