Hello, my name is Graham and I'm a 30 year old dude who has been working in kitchens since the age of 14. I am currently a culinary manager at Bonefish Grill. It has its ups and downs, but all in all it is a corporate restaurant and I'm working for the experience, knowledge and something nice to have on my resume seeing as how I currently have no plans to attend culinary school. I love cooking at home for my wife and daughter because I can be creative, which is something my current corporate environment is lacking. I am definitely a lifer; my mother was a server while I was growing up and I spent a lot of time in various restaurants. I would like to have my own restaurant one day, or at least be an exec. chef at a respectable establishment. One of my favorite hobbies outside of the culinary world is yo-yoing. I've been browsing the forums unregistered for maybe a month and decided to get active on them. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Cheers,

Graham

Thanks for your intro, Graham. We're glad you decided to join the community and hope you enjoy taking part in the give and take.

Besides the discussion forums, don't miss out on the excellent cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, photo galleries and other features that make this place the best of its kind (IMHO). The mix of pros and home cooks helps temper things and adds a perspective you won't find anywhere else. That creativity you love to stretch at home can be nurtured here!

We look forward to your contributions here and hope you stop in as much as your busy life allows. Welcome!
