I'm a butcher atm, studying to be a really good cook in my free time.
At the moment I'm experimenting with picked eggs and foods, very handy for a busy week when I don't have time to cook every day.
My current "recipe" for 12 pickled eggs is:
250 ml water
250 ml Apple CV
1 Ts Soya Sauce(not soy sauce)
1 Ts Sea Salt
1 Ts Table Salt
Sprinkle of Red Chilli flakes
Sprinkle dried petersile and schnittlauch
1 Red Chili cut into 4 pieces, keep the stem
Bring all of that to a boil for 1 minute than to a simmer for 2 minutes. Pour it all into a glass jar and add the 12 eggs + some vegetables if there is room, I like to use peppers.
How would you improve this recipe for you?
The way I see cooking, is it's something that (at least for me) requires lots of experience.
I think to be a good cook you need to do what you don't know; constantly experiment with the unknown.
