Welcome B glad you joined ChefTalk. There are some great resources on amazon regarding starting a blog and how to make it profitable I recommend starting there. Like working in the kitchen professional running a blog is a lot more work than most people realize.
Hi everyone! :-)
My name's B and I am LOVE food! All I know is food. It's almost all I talk about. It drives my family nuts, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a just-stop-talking-I-don't-care-about-the-nuances-of-ducks/cheese/rice,etc way. I look forward to meeting and hopefully becoming friends with my fellow food lovers!
I'm working on developing recipes for a future food blog (I understand if you feel inclined to roll your eyes at that lol) whose goal is to raise awareness and support for people with and recovering from food disorders. When I was a kid, I was picked on incessantly, and on top of home issues, and the stigma of being a diagnosed bipolar, developed anorexia. I still struggle with the tendencies to want to shut up and eat air, but with the support of my friends and dh I'm learning how to deal in a healthy way. I don't want sympathy or a proverbial cookie
or anything like that; it's just a fact of my life and I am not ashamed to admit it. If anything, it's made me a stronger person and I'd like to pay it forward to those who might still think they're alone.
Eventually, I'd like to have a farm that can sustain my family and support a small bakery cafe.
