Don't worry.  I like the forum and would like to continue to be a member of this community.  However, I joined a little too late last night and mis-typed my user name...the one thing that I cannot just change.  My solution would be to simply delete my account and re-enroll with a correctly spelled user name.  However, I have yet to figure our how to do so.  Help is appreciated.

I thought about leaving it as is...but it will drive me crazy every time that I log in. It is a standard user name for me and deliberately misspelling it requires me to go against muscle memory. Never mind that fact that I am annoyingly anal about things like that (maybe not the best character trait to lead with for a first impression). It's like a stereogram; once you have discerned the hidden image, you cannot seem to un-see it. I know I have a problem, but hope you will tolerate me anyway /img/vbsmilies/smilies/wink.gif

lol well its not about usernames in here, (there have been some really stranges ones) no one really cares. Its all about information exchange.
As to your name, I interpret it as makie (or maka) mine irish. Kinda catchy IMO.
Look at mine....a gross mispelling of a classic french cooking term.lol

Try contacting @nicko or @HellaSteph. They have more control over the system.

Matt ... it's most likely a waste of time asking for any "name" changes. I've tried for a while.
You can just forget asking to have your name capitalized.
