You could try a warranty claim. Barring that, Strop on a brass rod, edge trailing stroke. Light pressure. work the bend out slowly. The steel will be weak in that area until you eventually sharpen past that point in the steel matrix.
I would sytart with a file to remove the bad edge then go to a coarse stone and work the entire length until it is even again, then switch to a fine stone etc... re-edge the blade.
