Hey y'all. I was remiss in introducing myself before my first post!

I'm in beautiful Austin, TX--home to 2 of Food & Wine's recent recipients of America's 10 Best New Chefs (2001 & 2003)! I didn't become truly interested in cooking and food until I was in grad school (hospitality mgt). I spent a lot of time watching and talking to the chefs at the college while I was a lab instructor in the on-site restaurant.

Now I live to eat (and drink wine), instead of eat to live! I'm looking forward to learning from everyone. :)
