This recipe I used to make chocolate pretzels which includes like, 1 egg, flour, cocoa powder, butter and sugar. It said to beat the butter and sugar which I did then beat egg and I did. then sift flour and cocoa powder and mix. I did that but my mixture looked too floury.....I have no idea why. in the image it showed a nice brown soft dough but mine wasnt even adough it wouldnt even combine together when I use my hands. I added some melted butter, some of it joined but some didnt. It said to let it rest in fridge for 15 minutes which I put it in there and I hope it works. Idk what went wrong
