Looking for recipe ideas that can be made in bulk for a largish group (15-20 people) for a 4-year old's birthday, that adults will also enjoy eating.

So far the only item i have down is a good mac n cheese recipe i have - otherwise drawing a lot of blanks.

unfortunately, she has the typical palate (or, lack thereof) of a 4-year old. I want to make things she likes, but I will also need to make things other people will like and actually eat, or it's gonna be a pretty boring, stark choice of foods. her go-to's are quesadillas, ham and cheese sandwiches, breaded chicken tenderloins.

i could probably roll with those, but afraid of 'adulting' them up too much where the kids won't eat them?

any suggestions?

I would reverse thinking. Cook for the adults and then add the things the 4 year old likes. Example Cook Good Shredded Beef or Chicken Tacos or Fajitas, loaded nachos, etc for adults… fill in quesadilla for kids.

A couple bags of IKEA meatballs along with their "sauce."

Beanie Weenies.

Or how about grilling hot dogs and putting out a set of adult toppings. Pico de Gallo, diced avocado, grilled jalapenos.

Mini pizza's

Snack things, fingerfood and yes, use sauces for extra spice
Little meatballs, cheese, sausage, all cut and with one of those little flag-tooth picks in them (and gherkins, olives etc for adults and adventerous kids)

Our grandkids parties are/were always had a pot luck element to them. There were burgers and hotdogs, on the grill, condiments, mustard, ketchup, relish, chili and onions for adults, etc. People brought mac & cheese, salads, slaw, etc. Always three coolers, two for beer and one for juices and water. (I'm amazed at how much beer a five yr. old gets for their birthday - LOL)
