Hello,
I'm working as a consultant for a company based in Northeast Ohio. They are a large manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment like combi-ovens, hot cabinets, smokers, etc. They have asked me to help them look for opportunities to expand, and one of the areas I've identified involves microgreens and fresh herbs for the kitchen.
I'm looking to get some information on the feasibility of this idea, and I've put together a short 5 - 10 minute survey to try and get a little bit of information. I'm posting on here because I'm looking at two things.
First is the usage and cost of microgreens and fresh herbs. Second is the feasibility of a potential appliance, and am looking for feedback from chefs. My thought is that over the long run, this could be both a way to save money, and a way to ensure local and sustainable greens and herbs. If this is in the wrong place, please let me know.
We are doing a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card for any participant. I will also provide the anonymized results of the survey for your reference, and provide information whether or not things move forward with this appliance (based on the feedback we receive).
If you are interested, let me know, and I can send you the survey link directly, as I am not able to post links in this forum.
Thank you in advance, and hopefully this research can generate something that will benefit you in the future.
