So, it's a vacation house for the weekend, limited cookware,I want to do some baking at 350. The legend says most nonstick pans should not be heated over450–500. So why couldn't you use a nonstick skillet in the oven for baking something?

I think the no broiling, no cooking above 400 or 450, all makes sense. But there's lots of things that the pan could be used for 350 I would think. No plastic handles or otherwise, obviously.
