Actually, if I had my druthers, I'd have a gas cooktop for better control, and an electric convection oven for more even heating. Maybe someday if I ever have the money to redo my kitchen. Sigh.

Hi sci_fireader, welcome.

I already have my electric convention oven. What I'm longing for is a gaz top.

I have 2 stoves in my kitchen - one all gas and the other all electric. I use the electric oven and the gas range. The additional gas oven space and electric range come in handy for big occasions like Thanksgiving. But I agree with the others, a gas top and electric convection oven.

i made a poll and i can NOT believe that only 5 people would max out the percentage for natural gas stove....unless just ONE person is TRYing to be funny.....the poll was posted at 04.47 a.m....hey moderator...can you up the percentage for the poll...ha ha....one other thing.....i lived with bottled gas and it be just as good as natural gas...in fact, you would be amazed what you can do with bottled gas...got a bbq grill??? now if you live out in the country and you got some stuff to burn and the rubbish is green, i mean like, tree branches, tomato plants, potato plants, etc...drag out the bottled gas and get yourself approximately a 20 foot copper tubing flatten one end but not too much. 1\4 inch opening will suffice. pile on the stuff you want to burn. insert newspaper and start newspaper on fire and turn the valve wide open....EVERYTHING will end up as ashes within one hour depending on how much you have to burn...caution do not touch the tank or you just MIGHT get frost bite. the tank will have ice on the outside of it from gas going thru tubing.....the ashes from the rubbish will benefit your garden also....

sci_fireader,

Some of our members may only browse the boards once a week so give it some time...

;)

There are pros and cons for each and each individual is different. What may work well for one person, might not work well for another.
