I'm looking for a spreadsheet template to put together a 12 month P&L projection for a new food service operation I am bidding on. I figure at least one of the Chefs here may have to deal with this on a monthly or yearly basis, especially this time of year. So, I figure this would be the best place to ask. I have found these templates on the internet regarding other business types but most are locked and cannot be modified. I just need something I can modify that is already setup. Any monthly or weekly documents would help too.  

I wonder if somebody here would like to donate their template to make my life easier?

I create all P&L's with quickbooks. Most of the accounting programs have what your looking for. Profit and Loss, P&L's, balance sheets shouldn't have to be adapted to food service unless your looking for specifics for which I think any basic POS system works fine.

I'd rather not use quickbooks or any other program I'd have to buy. This 12 month P&L projection is going to be a part of a bid I am working on so it would have to be a speadsheet file I could copy over to my bid document. That's why I ask.

Just FYI, my QB's will now produce all of mu info  in excel, etc. I apologize, I'm just not understanding what you're looking for. I didn't pay for my accounting and bookkeeping, I just took some classes at our local community college at night. I'm just confused if you're working on a proposal or bid. Sorry for not understanding. I have a small business and have done all of my accounting and bookkeeping for years now so if you have specific questions you can always PM me.
