I just wanted to update you all on my room mate situation. Remember, I was stressing out about contacting them...Well one of them finally called me a couple days ago, and actually woke me up, but I was still asleep at an unspeakable hour and it was actually kind of embarrassing...But she seemed really nice and she is 18 and a freshman.
I called the other one today, but nobody was there so I left a message with my number. I may try to call her back, but we'll see.

Hmmm, wonder where she was calling from to wake you up that early. Im glad you've made contact. So .....how did she sound?

What I meant by unspeakable was that it was late She lives on the northeast coast and I live one hour behind, in Nashville TN.
She sounded nice, kind of quiet like me, and said she was also nervous about calling her roommates. We really didn't get into personal details. We just talked about what various things we were bringing, and how cool it was that we don't have to share a bathroom with an entire floor. (The three of us will have a private bathroom). A router was not discussed.
I think it's kind of hard to judge personality over the phone. In my two previous experiences in calling roommates before school, they sounded perfectly normal but turned out to be psychos. And I'm not exaggerating.
