I have read in a couple of medical articles that ingesting salt is not that much of a problem in the human diet-except for those who have severe blood pressure problems. The problem lies, however, in the foods that are associated with high salt intake in America-tortilla and potato chips, snacks and the like that are high in simple carb calories and fat. Now I cannot lay may hands on these two articles (they circulated through the office about a year and a half ago). Does anyone know more about it or can you direct me to a website?
