Hello all, I am looking to sell a large range/oven combo and was wondering what are some good ways of doing so. Craigslist and all that? Or should we go to a professional restaurant supply warehouse rather? It was $10,000 new and is now almost 3 years old, so wanting to get the most out of it obviously. We are located in Durango, CO so not too many large cities extremely close by. Thanks.

I think you will get more if you sell it yourself rather than if you sell it to a catering supplier as they would be looking to make money on it as well. Doing this you are removing one link from the chain. maybe someone from the forum wants it? Downside to DIY is it will take you more time to sell it yourself if you don't have storage...Good luck

PM me what you currently have and what you are wanting.

You say large, so please also check doorways to ensure you can get this out your kitchen, and the new one in.

I can help direct you in the right direction.

The used food eqpt. guys won't buy anything unless they can make a minimum 200 % markup.  When you put your stuff on craigslist, they'll be the ones low-balling you with an attitude.......

Traditionally you are lucky if they offer you 35 cents on the dollar. Sell on your own if possible
