Just melt some butter and combine the brown sugar to pour into a baking dish for the bottom layer. You may want to make sure the sides are a bit higher on the pie pan for a deep dish pie. The skillet just gives the idea of a one pan dessert. It also gives a more rustic look to the pie........Good luck.........ChefBillyB
