Ingredients:

500 gr ground beef
100 gr rice (uncooked)
240 ml water
6 bell peppers
2 (220 gr) cans tomato sauce
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
cheese (optional)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees С.
Place the rice and water in a saucepan, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a skillet, cook the beef until browned.
Cut out the tops of the bell peppers and clean out the seeds.
In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, browned beef, 1 can tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Fill each bell pepper to the top and arrange them in a baking dish.
Mix together the remaining tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Pour over the stuffed peppers.
Bake for 1 hour until peppers are tender. Baste each pepper with sauce every 15 minutes.
If desired, top peppers with shredded cheese at the last 10 minutes of baking.
