I use my compact microwave to make baked potatoes. I poke holes in the skin with fork, then cook in Pyrex glass bowl about 10 to 12 minutes depending on size of potato, and flipping the potato over once half way through. I get varied results with the texture of the potato. Sometimes it comes out the way I like it, airy and fluffy, like with little particles sticking to the fork or knife. But other times it comes out just like a soft but solid kind of texture with no "fluff" at all to it where the fork or knife will come back out just kinda clean. I haven't figured out why.
