I'll be driving through New Mexico in ~2 weeks. Anyone have recommendations for where to buy the best dried chiles, both suppliers/farms and specific varieties? I'll be driving through on I-10, so about 20 miles from Hatch. I'm looking for quality here, chiles grown for flavor over all else.
I'm from the California bay area and around here I get my chiles from Tierra Vegetables, in case anyone is looking for the best dried chiles round these parts.
