What entrees do you think are the MOST popular? NOT incuding fast food items like burgers and tacos.

If you were to open and cook at your own restaurant which 6 entree items do you think would be the biggest sellers with these thoughts in mind...easy to cook and prepare and somewhat healthy? :D

Spring~ chicken (either roast or stew with tarragon and spring veg)

Morels and cream on pasta...people can't get enough of it

Fish with a baby spinach and buerre blanc

Asparagus Salad with smoked trout and a cucumber dillweed dressing...entree size

Pork chop with the last of the potatoes....
dbl cut with a fruity glaze, kinda retro to Fall but people still go for it.

Beef Daube with orange in the stock, it's still cool during the nights...I was at dinner last night and 3 out of 4 order this.

For an all purpose resturant,

1. Roast chicken with mashed potato and veg.

2. Ceaser salad with grilled chicken or shrimp.

3. Grilled fish, chicken, or salmon with mashed potato and veg.

4. Shrimp scampi over angel hair.

5. N.Y. strip steak with mashed potato and veg.

6. Chicken Francaise.

Hmmm... I guess if it were my business I would try

1. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and a vegetable

2. Roast turkey breast, mashed potatoes & gravy and asparagus

3. New York strip steak, wedge fries and green beans with baby carrots

4. Chicken Caesar salad or pasta salad choice

5. Meatloaf, baked potato and broccoli

It all depends on the season, but here's a few:
1. Grilled Chicken Beast on Wild Rice with Mozzerella
2. Pork chops stuffed with seasoned sausage and assorted cheeses
3. Rainbow Trout with Pesto Buerre Blanc
4. Filet of beef with Morel Demi Glace
5. Roasted Duck Breast with Raspberry Reduction
6. Strawberry Shortcake....O.K. it's not an entree, but the berries are just coming in and I love the stuff.

Thanks! That was actually the Spring menu at my restaurant May 1997. The chicken breast was our top seller, but my favorite was the duck.
