Fellow Culinarians,

This past week we all lost a great chef. Not only was he a great chef, but to me he was a great human, chef, friend, and mentor. I have just returned from attending his funeral in France, and his memories, dedication, passion, and professionalism will live within me forever.

Has anyone else read the book about him trying to attain his third star? I read it a few years ago and although the translation was not so great the book was amazing.

A must read for all those cookbook freaks here on cheftalk.
