Visa to Stage Denmark

2199 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  igorestevan
Hi everyone,

I need some help. I live in Brazil and I received an opportunity to stage at Kadeau, but a work visa is needed. Anyone ever had this kind of problem? Because is quite hard to explain to the embassy that I needed a temporary work visa to do an unpaid stage.

I will be very grateful if anyone has any tip or had to past to this process before.

I'll suggest documentation would be key. Bureaucrats love paper work. Do you have an open line of communication with Kadeau? Can you get a letter of explanation or introduction from Kadeau that you can show the embasssy?
I don't know what your time line is because this might take some days or weeks to sort out but I would start by going to the embassy and explaining the situation (if you haven't done so already). Don't assume a. negative response. They have most likely encountered something similar before and have a process for handling it.
Bring all the communication information with you like emails, addresses, etc. for everyone involved. And there will probably be some fees involved so having some money ready would be a good idea too.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have a couple of emails with Kadeau about it and have an open line with them. I will contact the embassy and explain everything, I think this is the way to handle this.
