I need some help with a walk in cooler door hinge, there isn’t a name on the hinge anywhere and it’s about 30 years old. How can identify the hinge or do I just purchase a new one. It’s the type with the plastic cam in it for self closing. Any help would be very very appreciated.

i assume its broken or worn out?
I would start by taking a high-resolution clear picture of it with your phone or tablet,
taking it down to a restaurant supply place and asking them to help you identify it.
Any other information off the walk-in would be helpful too.

I believe the plastic cam is worn down. It is very old indeed. It looks similar to kason. I’ll try to remove it after hours soon, clean it up and post a picture.
