My folks are going to DC in three weeks, no kids, grandkids, etc...
What are some of the not to be missed dining spots?
I will be heading down with the little ones and will be sure to look up the other topics hot kid friendly spots!
Thanks!

Inn at Little Washington is a definite must-eat!

Pesces in Dupont Circle has excellent seafood with innovative and creative but not far out recipe ideas and combinations. Daily menus.

B Smith's is always good for upscale Southern Cooking.

Capitol Grill and the Monocle are where you go to see and be seen.

Michael,

Not to be adverserial, but have you been there recently and enjoyed it? I went there several times and was never very impressed...

Does anyone remember the name of the little house on Mass Ave just a couple of blocks up from Union Station? At one time it was billed as DCs most romantic restaurant (I'll try to find the name) -- it was always good and you felt pampered going there.

Not in DC proper, but also try L'Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls. Reservations needs(duh) and you usually need to call 3 weeks(?) in advance.
