Okay, so what if you dig through the change in you car's ashtray and come up with a few more dollars? Is it too embarassing to oay with change at the wine shop? More embarassing than buying cheap wine?

Seriously, what do you all like for $13 to $17 a bottle retail?

Myself, I'll go for Saucelito Canyon Zinfandel, Carmenet "Dynamite Cabernet", or something Italian on sale - like Marc DeGrazia's Clerico Dolcetto if you can find it.

Don't forget the rhones!! Both Chapoutier and Guigal make a great Cote du Rhone that is very inexpensive.
