Found that small jar of bean paste in my fridge.. no idea why I bought it, or what to do with it. Any ideas?

Butzy or Ordo uses it a lot under the name Doubanjiang

Ken Hom uses the spicy version in a chicken fried rice. Just add some Sriracha or sambal oelek or similar to what you've got.

Is it douchi? I have turned it into a vinaigrette. Used it as a wet rub for grilled proteins. Mapo tofu. Cantonese lobster. Stir fries. Spare ribs...

I LOVE Bulgogi!!! Thanks so much for that suggestion. I had no idea it had bean paste in it. I'll look it up. Probably dinner tomorrow night.
