Hello. I'm new to this forum and I am interested to get a job in the kitchen in future. I've searched some culinary schools online but I don't really get the information about how much is the normal cost to make oneself called as a novice chef to apply for a kitchen job.

Could you give me a tip of how much is enough for the school training to start applying for a culinary job? Is a few weeks crash Italian Summer course enough to apply for a kitchen help with some experiences? The course could show the certificate for some pasta or pizza knowledge. 

I found some job openings for the kitchen help online and thought about finding a job.

Hello Miyoko,

You do not need school to get a job in a kitchen. If the advertisement says kitchen help then they will be training you. Just apply for the jobs!
