Hello guys. I was thinking about creating rose infused tart, but as a cook who does not have a sweet tooth and is not much of a pastry guy I was wondering if those flavors would work together. Chocolate, pistachio, cardamom and cream fresh with addition of rose water?

I think you might have one too many ingredients. Sometimes less is more. Too many, and things can get muddled. If you take out the chocolate, you pretty much have the ingredients for a Persian Love Cake.

Make something and share the procedure and recipe with us. Tell us what worked. Tell us what didn't work. Tell us what you would do differently the next time. We all learn from each other if our minds are open.

An early mentor after I had experienced making something that didn't even come to close to working out and I was totally wigged out about that, pulled me aside and said "There are no failures if you learn from them. Learn what you did right. Learn what you did that could be improved upon. What might seem like a catastrophe has the potential to teach us much than when we do something right because when we do that we are so busy patting ourselves on the back that the door on learning is slammed shut by our smugness."
