I'm sorry.. I love bacon.. I've not found a sandwich to rival a well built BLT. But this wrap in bacon fad has got to stop.

If I see another facebook post showing us how to cook off bacon to 60% and wrap it around something .. only to smother it in something else.. I'm going to lose my mind.

Hey.. you like fish sticks? Wait till you see these bacon wrapped.. parmesan crusted.. poblano cheddar sh*t pockets I made.. follow me on youtube / subscribe!

I totally agree!!! I absolutely love bacon and often find ways of including it in many of my dishes, and have been for years, but it has gotten ridiculous over the last few years. Not everything needs to be wrapped in bacon, or smothered in bacon crumbs. But just like everything else, in this society, "if a little is good, then a lot has got to be better."

...And even when you cook the bacon 60% then wrap it around something, that something is usually overdone anyway after you finish cooking the bacon to done and crispy.....Now smother it with sauce to make it squish and not longer crispy
